Villa T539 is a house for a family of four. The site is a long rectangle with its terrain gently sloping on its longitudinal side, allowing spectacular views towards one of the most exclusive beaches on the Swedish west coast.

The spatial concept was to create horisontal lines that move parallel to the sea. A massive body is located in the site’s highest part, towards the forest. The second floor is projected as a cantilever that soars freely of the terrain. The functions are organised as an elegant succession that follows two main communication axes along the site. The kitchen, the dining room and the living room are kindly enclosed by big glass carpenetry which in its turn give a floating sensation of the entity.

The enclosing facade, of grey sheet metal, harmonises with the surrounding area’s varying levels while the concrete work relates to the ground.
